House: I'm an evil, spooky, godless Slytherin. Yeah.
Age: 13
Wand: Ebony and phoenix feather. It's very rigid, and kind of narrow. 17 inches long! I've never seen a longer wand. Bet I could poke someone's eye out with it.
I started out at Durmstrang during my first year, because they've got a better scholarship program, and Carol and Bert (that's my legal guardians--the Ministry pays them to take care of me) didn't want to spend a lot of money on me. But I got into a lot of fights and eventually got expelled. Carol was really mad. I was grounded for the whole summer that year. Anyway, they sent me to Hogwarts the next year, and Bert says it's probably better that way because at least I won't learn Dark magic here, even if it is a little pricier. The Ministry pays for most of it, anyway, because I'm an orphan.
My parents are both dead. They were Death Eaters, and whenever I misbehave Carol says I'll probably grow up to be just like them. They were both really bad, but my Mum was worse. See, after You-Know-Who vanished, Dad turned himself in and told the ministry that he had been under the Imperius Curse. Anyway, before his trial, while they were moving him from Azkaban to the Ministry building, mum Apparated in and killed him with a curse. The Aurors captured her, of course. They questioned her, but she never said why she did it; whether it was because dad was lying about the Imperius and had turned traitor or something, or whether it was about something just between the two of them. This was all while she was pregnant with me. She had me in Azkaban, and then they executed her.
So the Ministry gave me to Carol and Bert to take care of. I don't know why they took me, because they complain about it all the time, and tell me how awful my parents were and how I'm probably just the same, because the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I told them I wasn't an apple once, and they punished me for backtalk. I should be grateful to them for taking me in. But if they hate me, I don't see why I have to like them.
Favorite Hogwarts adult: Professor Flitwick. He's just so...nice. Perky, even. Which would normally annoy me, I guess, but it doesn't in his case. And I'm pretty good at Charms, so he helped me work out some extra charms to put on my broomsticks.
Favorite Hogwarts student: Um. Israfel. ::blushes::
Least favorite person at Hogwarts: That's hard. I don't like Snape, because he's supposed to favor Slytherins, but he's a bastard to me anyway. And I don't like the way McGonagall looks at me. I hate, hate, *hate* Draco Malfoy, because he wouldn't let me even try out for Quidditch because I'm too little. I don't like Loki McNair, either, because he picks on Israfel. But...this is going to sound really bad...I think Headmaster Dumbledore's my least favorite. Not that he's mean or anything. But he's just...I don't know, he's creepy. It's like he knows everything, or wants you to think he does. I know he knows what my parents were like, but he tries to be nice to me anyway, but I'm not buying it, because someone like him couldn't possibly like someone like me. I think he's watching me, waiting for me to go bad, and then he can do something about it, like turn me in to the Ministry.
Best subject: Charms. But I'm not bad in Defense, either.
Worst subject: . They're boring, and I can never get them right. At least I've got Israfel to help me in class.
Favorite Quidditch Position: I love flying. It's my favorite thing. Quidditch is very cool. I wanted to be a Beater for the Slytherin team *so* bad, but I'm too small, apparently. Beaters are usually boys, but I'm stronger than I look. Beater's the most interesting position, because you get to hit things, and the action's continuous. What I really want is to try out for the Holyhead Harpies when I get out of school. Their team's *all* witches. I bet they'd give me a chance.
In the meantime, I save up my pocket money and buy secondhand brooms when I can. Old ones. And I strip the charms and put my own on them. I've got one designed for height, and one for speed. And an old Shooting Star I haven't put anything on yet. Professor Flitwick says he'll help me with an advanced protection charm. I'm still thinking about that, because there's things I'd rather have, and protection charms interfere with some maneuvers. But it might be good for Israfel, because he doesn't fly so good.
Birthday: November 7th, but I don't think anyone cares. I don't care either. It's just a day.
Favourite Color: Burgundy
Favourite Food: Samosas and extra-spicy curry.
Favourite Music: Evanescence. Their stuff kind of reminds me of Israfel. I also like Heather Nova, Tracy Bonham, Daughters of the Night, and Mudblood. All girls, I know. That's just fine with me.
